The compartments are sized well for coins, or a candy the size of a Hershey's chocolate kiss. When a door is opened, a Christmas carol plays as the Santa scene is lit and animated. The Santa and elf scene is dimensional with handmade figures. The Bavarian style house is illustrated with a detailed, color label. Full volume control with no music at the minimum volume setting. Battery operated, uses 4EA "AA" batteries (not included). The house is approximately 16" tall at the peak of the roof, 16" wide and 4" deep.
